circular, painted on the exterior with subjects from the story of Joseph, as told in the Genesis, including the dreams of the Pharaoh, within elaborate floral enamel borders in relief, the interior painted with a fortified town by a riverscape, reeded gold mounts, the thumbpiece set with a rose diamond, unmarked, but dated: 1671 on the interior, in a circular leather case embossed with a coronet

In good condition; two very small areas of restoration to white enamel on the side; the mounts might benefit from professional cleaning
