This print is in generally excellent condition. Visible only under very close examination are some tiny deposits of original retouching in the sky. The mount is faintly soiled along the edges.


'143' and 'AA/1498' are written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. The reverse is faintly soiled.

This photograph was taken at the Philmont Scout Ranch, the Boy Scouts of America's largest National High Adventure Base, founded in 1938 and located in the rugged mountain wilderness in northeastern New Mexico.
