Oil Tanks

a unique Polaroid print, framed, an Andrew Smith Gallery, Santa Fe, label on the reverse, circa 1968; accompanied by a certificate of provenance, signed by Michael and Jeanne Adams (2)

image: 3 1/2 by 4 1/2 in. (8.9 by 10.2 cm.)

frame: 14 3/4 by 15 7/8 in. (37.5 by 40.3 cm.)

This unique Polaroid print is in generally very good condition. As is typical of such Polaroid prints, there is some pitting, faint scratches, and some stray dye in the margins, likely due to the Polaroid coating. Faint rust discoloration is visible in the lower right corner of the image. In the margins are notations for developing and exposure in red and blue ink, as well as yellowed adhesive residue.

The following are written in pencil in an unidentified hand on the reverse: '520' and 'AA/1998.' There is adhesive residue along the right edge.
