Grands Echézeaux 1994

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti

Côte de Nuits, Grand Cru

u. 2x4.5cm, 1x5.5cm, labels very slightly soiled, 1 very slightly scuffed, 1 capsule slightly worn at base, consecutive bottle numbers

Lovely, fresh, easy and attractive and now soft at 13 years old. I know I was not influenced by drinking this on a balmy Greek night! For this type of vintage it often pays to catch the fruit and consume one's bottles relatively young. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

The collection was housed in a large purpose-built underground cellar with high quality temperature and humidity control. The wines were purchased from two renowned wine merchants, on first release, have never been moved, and the vast majority were kept in stacks in their original wooden cases.
