Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the ceramic body presents with a slightly lighter green color than pictured in the catalogue photography. The ceramic body with irregular glaze application most visible on scattered areas of the base, near the upper rim and the lid of the piece, which is inherent to production. The upper rim presents with a very minor area of inpainting measuring approximately 3/8 inch long. The piece has been inspected under UV lighting and does not present additional evidence of prior restoration. The bronze mounts are in very good condition overall. The patina with occasional and very light discoloration and oxidation throughout consistent with age and concentrated to the edges, revealing a slightly brighter bronze undersurface. One side of the mounts with minute blue house paint marks, not visible unless closely inspected. A marvelous object with great exuberance and sculptural presence.
