Condition:

This work is in overall good condition. There are minor scratches to the print - in the upper central part of the image and lower right hand corner. However, Hassan Hajjaj Studio has confirmed the supply of a excellent brand new print to the winning bid at Sotheby’s expense. The mat and outer frame are in good condition.

Colour:

The catalogue illustration is fairly accurate with the overall tonality of the work being a bit darker in the original work.

"We have different visions but we have a love of Morocco in common. I love this guy because he really pushed people to express themselves...He saw my drawings and told me I had to take them seriously and work on them, and really pushed me into painting, so I'm grateful."
