Condition:

This work is in good condition. There appear to be pinpoints of paint loss on the upper left corner, the central left edge, and the outer right edge of the canvas of the panel due to a former frame abrasion. There appears to be slight hairline craquelure on the central figure. There is no restoration apparent when viewed under the UV light.

Colour:

The catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, with the overall tonality tending towards a browner shade and the blues not being as prominent in the original work.

The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The condition report is provided to assist you with assessing the condition of the lot and is for guidance only.
