Not examined out of the frame. Oil on slightly bowed panel. The panel is in generally good condition aside from minor frame abrasion at the extreme edges. Under UV light, there is a heavy, milky varnish that obscures the picture surface. There a few small dashes of inpainting throughout the chest of the figure at right and a few additional dots and dashes in the upper background visible over the varnish.
