The Florentine sculptor, Saul Fanfani, is best known for having collaborated with Luigi Arrighetti to execute a reproduction of Michelangelo's David in 1910. The subdued eroticism of this beautifully carved Nymph is characteristic of Florentine sculpture of this period.
