A ROYAL WORCESTER RETICULATED PORCELAIN MODEL OF A SHOE BY GEORGE OWEN 1919


of elegant form, the top edge applied with a band of 'pearls', and further garlands hanging from gilded florets of pearls, the toe section double-walled, the outer wall pierced with a unique design and two honeycomb panels surmounted with a large flower formed of gilded pearls, the whole enriched with raised gilding, factory mark and shape number 439 in gold, incised signature 'G. Owen', date code for 1919.
