A RARE LARGE ROYAL WORCESTER RETICULATED PORCELAIN VASE AND COVER BY GEORGE OWEN 1910


of elongated ovoid form affixed on either side with an upright gilt-heightened scroll handle, elaborately pierced with two wide honeycomb bands centering a band of unique piercing, the lower section molded with stiff acanthus leaf, the foot, neck and cover with further piercing, the whole enriched with raised gilding, factory mark and shape number 179/H in gold, incised signature 'G Owen', date code for 1910, numeral 61 or 19 to inside edge of footrim.
