shape 1303, decorated by Andrew Morgan, one with incised AM cipher, each decorated in white slip with a cupid seated beneath a tree, one retrieving an arrow from a quiver, the other holding a dove, the the reverse of each with a musical trophy, the sides with gilded diaper panels, crowned globe MINTONS marks in gold, impressed MINTONS marks, date code for 1884.

Both vases are in good appearance. There is minor rubbing to the gilding on the feet, and necks, some of which is visible in the catalogue illustration.
