shape number 2359, decorated by Alboin Birks, both with AB monogram in white slip, after the Sevres form 'Vase Hollandois Nouveau Ovale', reserved with a chocolate brown-ground rectangular panels decorated in white slip, the upper sections with putto within branches of roses, daises and other flowers, alternating with panels of flower wreaths, the pierced lower sections with alternating panels of trophies and fruits and flowers, separated by raised gilded diaper panels, crowned globe Mintons marks in gold, impressed MINTONS marks, letter F, date code S for 1889.
