shape 1013, decorated by Lawrence Birks, signed monogram LB, reserved on the front with a chocolate brown-ground panel finely decorated in white slip with a scantily draped nymph, the sides and reverse with further panels of neoclassical devices and interlocking wreaths, within raised gilt borders, the whole enriched with raised gilding with neoclassical devices, crowned globe Mintons mark in gold, impressed MINTONS mark, date code for 1893, impressed numeral 7.
