shape 437, decorated by Lawrence Birks, signed LB monogram, reserved with a chocolate brown-ground oval panel decorated in white slip with a cherub sowing seeds, the reverse with a medallion of farming tools, affixed on either side with a gilt ring handle, crowned globe Mintons mark in gold, impressed MINTONS mark, date code for 1894.
