Under the creative leadership of Yves G. Piaget, the eponymous brand has pushed the boundaries of technicity and sophisticated design for more than half a century. During the 1950s, Piaget released the legendary manual winding calibre 9P, then the world's thinnest mechanical movement. The 1960s and 1970s were considered the golden age of the brand, which paved the way for creative jewellery pieces boasting audacious curves, stone-settings and hard stone dials. The opulent yet elegant Piaget timepieces were indeed in extremely high demand during those years, making them a genuine statement piece on the wrists of world acclaimed actors, artists and celebrities.

The present yellow gold Tradition timepiece bears all the attributes of a true Piaget. The integrated textured bracelet follows the brand's design approach and smoothly blends in with the diamond-set mother-of-pearl dial. The thin bezel is set with 50 diamonds, with a weight of 0.76 cts.

The ultra-thin 32mm case is considered a "Grand Modèle" by Piaget and is powered by the calibre 9P, adding an illustrious mechanical aspect to the delicate timepiece.

With a last seen retail price of CHF 34,010, the present very well-preserved lot represents a true opportunity to acquire a testament of Piaget's history and a true ambassador of elegance.
