Louis Cartier designed the first ever Pasha wristwatch in 1932 to honour an order from the Sultan of Marrakech. This early waterproof wristwatch was equipped with an innovative screw-down cap which would protect the crown and was eventually introduced to the public in 1943. The Pasha went on to become one of the most recognised wristwatches and saw many updates during its lengthy life, such as a redesign by Gerald Genta in 1985.

The present white gold Cartier Pasha conveys all the design language of the brand and pays tribute to the original version. The automatic timepiece bears a magnified date indicator and is accompanied by its presentation case.
