Rolex launched the reference 16710 in 1989, superseding the 16760 with a slimmer case profile. The watch was delivered with one of the three available bezels: plain black, red and blue (Pepsi) or black and red (Coke). The reference received various upgrades during its almost twenty-year run, including a new calibre as well as the transition from Tritium to Luminova and subsequently to SuperLuminova.
The present GMT Master II reference 16710 was manufactured in 2002. In addition to bearing the instantly recognizable Pepsi bezel insert, this timepiece is powered by the calibre 3185 with hacking seconds and quick-set functions. It is further equipped with the solid bracelet end-links, introduced in 2000. This wristwatch is offered with its original Rolex guarantee, user manuals, sale tag and presentation case, making it a compelling opportunity in an ever-strengthening market.
