The Ref. 3418 was produced from 1958 to about 1962, and is known only to exist in stainless steel. This rare and unusual model allowed for easy strap/bracelet changes by unscrewing a metal ring fixed to the case back, revealing the lugs within, hence its name, Convertible.
An example of the Ref. 3418 is illustrated in Goldberger, John, Steel Patek Philippe Watches, 2010, p 338-339.
