This picture has been lined which is providing a stable structural support. There is a faint craquelure pattern which is only visible upon close inspection - the picture is ready to be hung.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There is a small area or retouching located to the hull of the ship in the background which may relate to a repaired tear.
The picture is contained in a moulded composite frame.
