Folio (505 x 342mm.), lithographed wrapper title with vignette of HMS Asia and dedication to Vice-Admiral Sir Edward Codrington, lithographed map, 6 lithographed views by Hullmandel after Reinagle, leaf of descriptive letterpress, original stitched wrappers, without list of subscribers, minor spotting, wrappers and edges slightly worn


This work depicts a minor naval action (29 September 1828) outside Patras in which Codrington brushed with a number of Turkish-Egyptian ships.
