Seven albums of photographs of travels in the 1950s

7 albums, small 4to and oblong 4to, containing over 680 silver prints (average 70 x 100mm., or the reverse), most corner mounted, various bindings, some slight wear to albums, one upper cover detached

The majority of the photographs are of Iraq with views of ancient sites including Babylon, Ctesiphon and Samarra, city views, rural scenes, views on the Tigris, mosques, landscapes and people; two of the albums include photographs of travels in Kurdistan and a few of Palestine (mostly images of Jerusalem).
