The last 50 years have been very eventful for this whisky, with Dalmore’s master distiller Richard Paterson applying all of his innovation to its maturation. Beginning life in American White Oak, this liquid was transferred to Gonzalez Byass Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, then into Colheita Port Pipes before its final stage of finishing for 50 days in Henri Giraud Champagne casks.  

As much thought has been put into the presentation as the maturation. This rare 50 year old expression is one of only 50 to be filled to order in a Baccarat crystal decanter adorned with a solid silver stag designed by silversmith Hamilton & Inches and encased in a justifiably extravagant presentation box within protective flight cases.
