The large panel is cradled. The paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear an even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals retouching along two horzintal panel joins, a third of the way from the upper margin and through the centre as well as numerous small retouchings in the sky, scattered in the swan, and very few scattered in the background. In overall good condition for a panel of this size and ready to hang.
