We extend sincere thanks to Peter Sherwin for his kind assistance in authenticating the present work from photographs.
Executed on cream laid paper. The sheet is adhered to a mount with photo corners in all four corners. The left and bottom edges are deckled. There are two horizontal creases running across the sheet, dividing the composition roughly into thirds. There is a one-inch tear where the lower horizontal crease meets the left edge. There is a vertical crease running down the center of the sheet. There are two pinholes near the center of the top edge. There is one half-inch tear near the center of the right edge. The work is in good condition.
