We extend sincere thanks to Peter Sherwin for his kind assistance in authenticating the present work from photographs.
Executed on buff-colored wove paper. The sheet is hinged at three places along the top edge of its verso. All four edges are deckled. There are pieces of tape at multiple places along the edges of the verso, likely from a previous mounting. These pieces of tape are visible from the front of the sheet. There are multiple artist's pinholes at the upper left and upper right corners. There is 1/4 inch tear to the upper right corner. There is a crease running the length of the sheet horizontally and a second crease running the length of the sheet vertically, possibly due to the artist's intent. There is very minor scattered staining. This work is in good condition.
