Arabic manuscript on paper, 275 leaves plus 4 fly-leaves, 15 lines to the page, written in naskh in black ink, ruled in gold, black and red, verses separated by gold and polychrome rosettes, surah headings in white naskh against a gold ground within cartouches, gold and polychrome verse markers in the margins, f.1b and f.2a with an illuminated rococo frontispiece, incomplete (ending with surah al-Ma’un CVII), in brown gilt binding, with flap
text panel: 10.3 by 5.7cm.
leaf: 14.8 by 10.8cm.
The margins are clean, minor stains and rubbing, the first leaf detached, incomplete, the flap detached, as viewed.
