Arabic manuscript on paper, 299 leaves plus 3 fly-leaves, 15 lines to the page, written in naskh in black ink, ruled in blue and gold, verses separated by gold and polychrome rosettes, surah headings in white riqa’ against a gold ground within polychrome cartouches, gold and polychrome verse markers in the margins, f.1b and f.2a with an illuminated frontispiece, f.298b with a finispiece folio with the colophon in a polychrome and gold roundel, in brown gilt and stamped leather binding, with flap
