Arabic manuscript on paper, 241 leaves plus 9 fly-leaves, 16 lines to the page, written in naskh in black ink, ruled in black and gold, verses separated by gold roundels, surah headings in gold thuluth, gold verse markes in the margins, f.1b and f.2a with an illuminated frontispiece, in lacquer binding decorated with flowers
text panel: 6 by 3.2cm.
leaf: 8.2 by 5cm.
The margins are clean, some pages with tears and splits, minor stains and rubbing, losses to the illumination opening, some crackeleure to the binding, as viewed.
