Arabic manuscript on vellum, 13 lines to the page written in bold extended Kufic in brown ink, vocalisation in the form of red dots, verses separated by three dashes in brown ink, surah title on the verso in red within a cartouche decorated in green and brown with an interlacing scroll medallion in the margins
leaf: 25 by 35.2cm.
The folio has been cropped and misses 3 lines to the bottom, the hairy side (verso) with some creases and tape which consolidates some splits, losses to the ink and folds, smudges and losses to the illuminations, the margins have been cropped as the medallions are not complete, the flesh side (recto) with splits, creases, stains and minor smudges, as viewed.
