i. Rohan, H., duc de. Le parfaict capitaine. Paris: Houzé, 1640, 3 parts in one, 4to, engraved frontispiece, contemporary vellum, modern chemise and slipcase, a few leaves slightly damp-stained at beginning, stain to upper cover

ii. Frontinus, S.J. Les stratagesmes. Paris: Jolly, 1664, 12mo, contemporary red morocco gilt, 2 splits in upper joint

iii. [Calvacabo, G.] Le guidon des capitaines. Rouen: Le Villain, 1628, 12mo, woodcut on last leaf, penultimate leaf blank, modern vellum, purchased from Thomas Thorp, London, 17 December 1946, £5-5s, [USTC 6813269], first and last leaf repaired
