painted in the center with a maiden holding an axe walking aside a ram within a hexagonal-shaped tooled-gilded cartouche, within a finely tooled foliate scroll band at the well, the rim with a dark blue ground reserved with gilded and white enameled scrollwork, shield mark in underglaze-blue, impressed date number 93 or 97, impressed numeral 5
