oil on canvas

Condition Report

The canvas has a firm relining, the paint surface is clean, and the varnish is clear but rather dulled. Discoloured retouchings are visible scattered throughout the background, the green drapery, and the plinth, to disguise the appearance of craquelure. There is a slight degree of wear throughout. Inspection under ultraviolet light confirms the aforementioned retouchings, which also occur around the silhouettes of some of the blooms and in the edges of the glass vase. In overall good condition.
