the seated pug wearing a gilt-heightened puce collar and modeled scratching his right cheek and the brown-spotted cat with a bleeding bird in its mouth, each mounted upon slightly differing gilt-bronze bases affixed at the back with scrolling branches terminating in small porcelain blossoms and supporting a central foliate candle nozzle.

Bronze and gilding in good condition, typical minor rubbing occasional surface dirt. tail and rear right leg of cat restored. Body crack to back of pug.
