painted after Hogarth's 'A Midnight Modern Conversation', the domed cover with a finial modeled as a child vintner and his companion emblematic of Autumn, with scattered flower sprays and sprigs, and neue-ozier-molded borders, crossed swords and dot mark in underglaze blue.
