the first oblong, engine-turned within cut leaf borders, the interior with later inscription, Joseph-François Marcillac, Paris cock's head petite recense 1809-1819, unofficial bear’s head 3e titre; the other of cut-corner rectangular form, entwined laurel borders enclosing engine-turned panels, 20th century with prestige marks including maker’s mark purporting to be that of C.C. Petschler and mark simulating the bull garantie for 1819-1838
