Description

RETURN OF THE JEDI, SPECIAL POSTER PRODUCED UNDER LICENCE TO YAMAKATSU, NORIYOSHI OHRAI, JAPANESE, 1983

This special poster was produced under licence to Yamakatsu and sold in Japanese cinemas only when the film was first shown in Japan. Noriyoshi Ohrai's artwork was so striking that some cinemas also displayed it alongside the studio release poster. Extremely rare and highly sought-after Japanese poster.

This was the final film made in the original Star Wars trilogy, which is now the sixth film, owing to the subsequent prequel trilogy.

28 x 20 in. (71 x 51 cm) (unframed)
