Used as seal on reverse of May 1846 folded cover free franked by Postmaster Martin Revell and with blue FREE handstamp to the Postmaster General, Washington D.C. containing the weekly report on the weight of mail carried to Annapolis on the Annapolis and Elk Ridge railroad. Pressed out vertical file fold well clear of design, very fine and scarce with Philatelic Foundation certificate (1970).
