Overall, the conditon of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few minor losses to the patina, including to both eyes, to the beak, and to the lower edges of the bird's wings. The beak is slightly warped. There is further minor warping to the feet and talons of the bird, and there are some further losses to the patina here. There is minor general wear to the surface and some small scratches.
