A LARGE CHARLES II SILVER FLAGON, MAKER'S MARK S BELOW A CROWN, ATTRIBUTED TO ROBERT SMYTHIER (OR SMITHYER), LONDON, CIRCA 1670
of cylindrical form on a skirting foot, hollow scroll handle and hinged domed cover, the bracket thumbpiece pierced with a heart, the body engraved with the Berkeley coat-of-arms within foliate mantling
