ebony strung and with two carrying handles, eight lift-out trays and three exterior drawers; the collection of coins and medals in silver and base metal, including among others a group of late Roman bronze coins, and other coins after the antique, a James I sixpence, various presentation medals including a medal depicting Oscott College, a white metal medal commemorating the opening of the Thames Tunnel, a medal commemorating Napoleon's exile to St. Helena, and a medal by Rundell in honour of the coronation of George IV together with early 20th century casts of French Napoleonic medals (qty)
