painted in underglaze-blue with flowering branches issuing from stylized rockwork, enriched in enamels with oriental flowers, the rims with orange and gilt trelliswork borders and the underside of the saucer with three small sprigs, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, the teabowl with impressed Dreher's mark of an asterisk for Gottfried Bergman, the saucer with two asterisks for Christian Maynert (Rückert, 1990, pp. 123-24, 102, 121).
