柿右衛門 色絵花鳥文大皿 江戸時代、17世紀後期
painted with a central scene of a songbird perched atop a bamboo stalk issuing from rockwork surrounded by prunus blooms, the cavetto and rim decorated with a continuous landscape with further rockwork and flowering branches, the exterior with a foliate scroll band and the base with six spur marks.
Diameter: 15⅛ in.
There is a V-shaped hairline at 3 o'clock with a small associated area of loss restored with fill and overpaint, the longest fork of the hairline measuring approx. 7.8 cm. Otherwise with minor firing imperfections and surface wear.
