Cottonwood, pigments, hair, fiber

Inscribed on the reverse in black ink: "x4.39"

Condition Report

Very good condition overall for an object of this type and age, with wear consistent with handling. Minor losses, chips, scratches and abrasions throughout. Very minor pigment loss throughout as visible in the catalogue illustation. The dyed red horse hair on the proper left side attached only by the lower binding, as visible in the catalogue illustration. Has base.
