The background and the border stripped to the levkas. The figures, the rock, the architecture, the table and the calf all extenstively restored and repainted in the recent decades. With patches of the original 16th century painting visible throughout the painting. Two restored vertical cracks running from top to bottom through the panel.
The icon would benefit from a professional cleaning and restoration.
