enamelled in translucent salmon pink over engine-turning emulating moiré silk, decorated with green gold laurel festoons surmounted by pink gold bows, the aperture bezels and hinged panel borders applied with yellow gold, the central panel with a silver-gilt bow, plain polished back, with pink gold hook closure, struck on the bottom of the central panel with the workmaster's initials, Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard

length opened 16.4cm, 6½in.

Overall in excellent condition.The enameled surfaces with very minor surface wear.

There is a small gap between the back panel and the body of the frame caused by two loose internal screw fittings.
