A FABERGÉ SILVER AND GUILLOCHÉ ENAMEL GUMPOT, WORKMASTER ANDERS (ANTTI) NEVALAINEN, ST PETERSBURG, 1904-1908


of tapering cylindrical form, enamelled in translucent silver-grey over a wavy ground, the top with a cabochon moonstone finial, struck on the bottom with workmaster's initials, K. Fabergé in Cyrillic under the Imperial warrant, 91 standard, scratched inventory number 14709, with later control marks

height 5.4cm, 2⅛in.

Condition report

In good condition, with minor surface wear, consistent with age. The cover without brush.

There are scattered areas that fluoresce under UV light with corresponding discolouration visible by the naked eye, possibly a result of restoration.
