A FABERGÉ JEWELLED GOLD, NEPHRITE AND GUILLOCHÉ ENAMEL MAGNIFYING GLASS, WORKMASTER HENRIK WIGSTRÖM, ST PETERSBURG, 1904-1908


the mount enamelled in translucent pink guilloché applied with gold laurel leaves and opaque white bands within gold reserves, struck inside the rim with the workmaster’s initials, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 12275        

length 14.7cm, 5⅞in.

Purchased from the St Petersburg branch of Fabergé by the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna on 10 January 1906, for 175 roubles.
