oil on canvas laid on board
38 by 66cm, 15 by 26in.
The canvas has been laid down on a wooden board, which has bowed very slightly. A horizontal imperfection runs the width of the canvas about a quarter of the way down. There are two small areas of stable craquelure in the left corners with some minor flecks of paint loss. Some minor abrasions are visible along the edges. The surface is clean. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor scattered retouching, mostly to the sky and mountains. Held in a gold-painted wooden frame.
