The support is slightly bowed. There are minor frame abrasions with associated paint loss along the edges. There are a few tiny nicks to the middle of the top and bottom edges. Very fine craquelure is visible in places. Inspection under UV light reveals an unevenly discoloured varnish layer but no obvious signs of retouching. Held in a gold-painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
